Martin Furniture Double Pedestal Desk, White

Looked for a desk for a while and found what I wanted was in the multiple thousands of $$ at local stores, so I checked online and found this desk at a reasonable price. Expected it to be a bit flimsy and made w/ particle boards but was thrilled to find it is solid wood. I haven't found any particle board on it. Particularly expected the back panel would be flimsy but it is 1/2in solid board. Legs attach very securely, the drawers don't wobble at all, and the surface is beautifully finished. Only issue I had was with the delivery company on contract with Amazon. I think the delivery folks didn't want to deal with it because it's so large and is heavy so they kept rescheduling the delivery to the point where I had to threaten to return it, then Amazon got involved and it showed up the next day. Go figure. Glad they did because it really is a great desk and it was packaged like a beast so there was no damage. One note, the desk is darker in color overall than the one shown in the image on Amazon. It doesn't have the distinct wear marks you see in the photos.
