Question:What kind of battery does it have?

Answer:It has two 12 v. batteries. It is very strong and powerful. This is a really great scooter and only took 10 minutes to unpack and assemble.

Question:Is the width of this travel pro premium 3-wheel mobility scooter by pride 21" or 19.5"? dims say 19.5 x 21"...

Answer:21” wide at armrests 19.5 wide at wheels. Suggest put rubber caps over armrest attachment bolt heads as they will mar door facings etc.

Question:Is this TSA approved for airplane travel?

Answer:Yes. My wife and I have traveled extensively and gate check it every time.

Question:Does it work in the yard or on gravel ?

Answer:It will work on the lawn but since it only has 3 wheels you have to be careful on uneven surfaces. It can tip over if it front wheel hits a rock or a hole in the ground. Have not tried on gravel but would suggest you be very careful, drive slowly.
