Question: How does the roof of the canopy hold up in high winds? (15-35mph)
Answer: We just had 35-40 mph winds this last week and rain. The winds blew over the umbrella in our table but the gazebo, once bolted together is sound. I could sit in it with the curtains closed and not be bombarded with stuff being blown around. It is very sturdy.

Question: Could this be set up on a patio without securing it to the ground? Is it heavy enough to stay in place?
Answer: It weighs over 200lbs, so we have not secured it to the patio. In 3 weeks it has been fine, we've had some decent winds and it didn't affect it. We keep the solid curtains closed to protect the cushion from the sun and that might help keep it from catching the wind.
