Question: Is the table surface smooth or grooved?
Answer: It is grooves kind of like composite wood but easy to clean. Everything else is solid wood

Question: What size rug may complement this? I have space for a 9'x6', but wondering if would look good with size 5'3" x 7'3"..? Thanks!
Answer: The tables dimension are 36 x 60 x 30.25 inches. You would need to make sure the rug would cover more than the size of the table in length and width.

Question: How much weight do the chairs hold?
Answer: Great chairs. Sitting they hold most any weight however don’t stand on them as the center may not hold much.

Question: What are the dimensions of the chair seats?
Answer: The seat is : Seat width : 17.75" / Seat depth : 17" / Seat height : 19.63".
